From June 11 to July 2, one of my photographs, Piano No. 1, will be on view at the Oak Park Art League’s Music exhibition. The opening reception is this Friday, June 11 from 6 to 8 PM. All are welcome!

On Saturday, May 22, from 12-8 PM, I’ll be participating in the Oak Park Art District’s What’s Blooming on Harrison art show. This is the 10th year of the show, and the theme is “Emerging Artists.” Stop by my table and say hi!

I’m participating in the Chicago Aldermen Project, which is having its opening reception on Friday, March 19 at 7 PM. For the project, I selected my alderman from Ward 5, Leslie Hairston. Even though I’ve been a resident of Chicago for almost four years, I admittedly never took the time to find out the name of my alderman until becoming involved with this project.

I feel very grateful that Ms. Hairston took the time to meet me and participate in the project, and I’m looking forward to seeing all of the portraits from the other 49 artists on Friday.
